Look out Detroit, Brain Aneurysm Awareness Day is coming to your neck of the woods.  That’s right, April 28th, Comerica Park will welcome The Joe Niekro Foundation as the Detroit Tigers take on The Minnesota Twins.  What makes this day so special is that Joe Niekro wore the jerseys from each of these franchises, having begun his career with one (The Tigers) and finished his career with the other (The Twins).  As The Joe Niekro Foundation spreads its message throughout Major League Baseball, its one more chance to connect with fans and supporters and share our story of the importance of early detection and awareness of this widespread condition.  This is a huge “win” for the foundation and the onset to Brain Aneurysm Awareness Days in ballparks across the country.  So look out Detroit, we are on our way to victory!
